ENERGIE ELECTRIQUE DE TAHADDART
ENDESA and the Moroccan electricity enterprise ONE will build and exploit a 384 MW combined cycle power station in Tahaddart, a location situated some 30 km from the city of Tangiers.
The construction and the right of use of this power station has been awarded by ONE to a company called Energie Electrique de Tahaddart and formed by ONE itself (48%), ENDESA (32%) and Siemens (20%).
The plant was inaugated last 19th of January of 2005 in a ceremony presided over by their majesties, the Kings of Morocco and Spain. During 2008 the power station generated 2,868 GWh.
